Estonian duo Abdul Raeva kick things off for Physical Education in 2023. Marking the label’s first release of this year, Passion de la Passion is a four-track excursion into the outer realms of tech house, acid and everything in between. The Caballero Thrust Programme initiates proceedings, doing exactly what it says on the tin. Much like a rocket launching, tribal drums open into a slinky synth pattern, before acid-flecked pulses take us deep into starry, spaced-out territories.
